Pulaski House (all girls dorm)
built in 1914

This SCAD dorm thought to be haunted by the famous ghost of Gracie is infact not.  Gracie Watson died in April of 1889 but not at SCAD's Pulaski House.  SCAD's Pulaski House was a section of the Jewish Education Alliance and also a shelter for homless women and children.  It is much more likely that the female child that resides at SCAD's Pulaski House is perhaps a spirit from when the building was used as a shelter.  If Gracie's ghost is to be found anywhere it is at the site of where the original Pulaski House Hotel existed, on West Bryan.  Morrison's cafe is built on the site of the original Pulaski Hotel.

Soon after Gracie Watson died her parents sold the Pulaski Hotel and became managers of the newly opened Desoto Hotel in 1890.
